Who we are

Man of the Hour is an independent watch publication operated by Hallway Digital and available at manofthehour.co. For privacy questions or requests, contact editorial@manofthehour.co.

Information we process

When you visit the site, WordPress, Hostinger and security services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps and diagnostic logs. If you email us, we process your email address and the contents of your message so that we can respond. If you subscribe to the newsletter, Beehiiv processes your email address, subscription choices and engagement information needed to deliver and measure the newsletter.

Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics, configured through Google Site Kit, may be used to understand aggregate site use and improve the publication. Where consent is required, optional analytics technologies should not operate until you have made a choice. You can also control cookies through your browser and any consent controls presented on the site.

Why we use information

We use personal information to provide and secure the website, respond to enquiries, correct our work, deliver communications you request, understand aggregate site performance and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the activity, the legal basis may be your consent, performance of a service you requested, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the publication, or compliance with law.

Service providers and international transfers

Our service providers include Hostinger and WordPress for website hosting and publication, Beehiiv for newsletter services, and Google for site analytics. These providers may process information in countries outside your own. Where required, transfers are protected using recognised safeguards provided by the relevant service provider.

Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including website security, correspondence, newsletter administration and legal-record requirements. You can unsubscribe from newsletter messages using the link included in each message.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal information, and to receive a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Send requests to editorial@manofthehour.co. If you are in Ireland or the European Union, you may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or your local supervisory authority.

Children

Man of the Hour is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the publication.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site’s services or data practices change. The latest revision date will appear at the top of this page.
