Luminox has introduced the FORCE BLUE Pacific Diver 44mm, reference XS.3125.FB, as the official watch of the marine-conservation organisation FORCE BLUE. The new model is based on the existing Pacific Diver format, but its blue, yellow and gold details were developed around the partnership rather than added as a simple logo exercise.
FORCE BLUE brings former Special Operations divers into marine-conservation work, using skills developed during military service for projects such as coral restoration and marine research. Luminox says it has supported the organisation since 2022, including work in Key Biscayne and the Florida Keys and the FORCE BLUE Ocean Conservation School for military families.
The FORCE BLUE connection
The most distinctive elements are on the dial. A rope motif associated with FORCE BLUE runs across the display in Super-LumiNova, while gold-coloured accents pick up details from the organisation's emblem. Blue and yellow illumination gives the watch a different night-time appearance from the standard Pacific Diver models.
Those choices give the collaboration a clear identity without changing the basic job of the watch. It remains a large, quartz-powered dive watch designed around legibility and low maintenance. At 44mm across, it will suit buyers who actively want a substantial case rather than people searching for a discreet everyday watch.
The partnership is more than a naming arrangement. According to Luminox, retired Navy SEALs and Special Operations divers from FORCE BLUE contributed feedback during development. That does not make the watch a substitute for professional equipment or training, but it explains practical details such as the expandable strap and the emphasis on clear low-light reading.
Case, bezel and water resistance
The 44mm case is made from 316L stainless steel and uses a screw-down crown and screw-in caseback. Luminox rates the watch to 200 metres of water resistance. As always, that figure is a laboratory rating rather than an instruction for a particular activity; owners should follow Luminox's servicing and use guidance.
A CARBONOX unidirectional bezel keeps weight down around the edge of an otherwise substantial steel case. The material is a carbon compound used across a number of Luminox tool watches. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment covers the dial, a sensible choice for a watch expected to see regular outdoor use.
The overall design remains recognisably Pacific Diver. The guard structure around the crown, broad bezel and strong minute track all favour quick reading over delicacy. The conservation theme changes the colour and character, but it does not turn the XS.3125.FB into a dressier watch.
Dial and illumination
Luminox Light Technology is used on the hands and markers. The self-powered system does not need to be charged by ambient light, and Luminox says it remains visible for up to 25 years. The blue and yellow tubes used here complement the FORCE BLUE colours and make the collaboration easier to distinguish in darkness.
The luminous rope motif is handled differently. It uses Super-LumiNova, so it must first absorb light before it glows. Combining the two systems creates a layered display: the tubes provide persistent reference points, while the rope graphic adds a brighter short-term effect after exposure to light.
Gold-coloured accents bring some warmth to the otherwise blue and black palette. They also prevent the watch from looking like a generic blue-dial variant with a charity name attached. Whether the mix appeals will come down to taste, but the design communicates the partnership clearly.
Movement and strap
Inside is the Swiss Ronda 515 quartz movement. Luminox quotes a battery life of 60 months. Quartz is a logical fit here: it keeps the watch comparatively simple, provides dependable timekeeping and avoids the thickness and servicing needs of an automatic movement.
The blue NBR rubber strap includes an expandable section intended to fit over additional clothing. It closes with a stainless-steel buckle. NBR rubber is commonly chosen for water-focused watches because it resists moisture and remains flexible, although comfort on a 44mm case will still depend on wrist size and personal preference.
Price and availability
Luminox lists the FORCE BLUE Pacific Diver 44mm XS.3125.FB at $795 in the United States at the time of writing. Prices and availability can vary by market, so buyers outside the US should check their regional Luminox site or an authorised retailer.
The watch makes the most sense for someone who already likes the assertive size and functional look of the Pacific Diver but wants this specific partnership and colour scheme. Its appeal is less about introducing a new movement or case architecture and more about giving an established platform a coherent purpose.
There are smaller and more restrained dive watches at the same price, including within Luminox's own range. The XS.3125.FB is not trying to be one of them. It is a bold 44mm tool watch whose strongest distinction is the link to FORCE BLUE and the conservation work behind it.
